About Us

Our Story

Since 1985 when I first starting in the construction business there have been a great number of changes spear heading these changes were the leaky condo fiasco of the 80's and 90's

So many condos and houses were slapped together with little or no overhangs on roofs and just simple tar paper around windows and doors on many occasions little or no ventelation could be found allowing rain water with the force of wind behind it to seep in behind siding and stucco with no means of escape causing rot and mold that was not discovered until it was a huge undertaking to repair. In 1998 the B.C,  government set a side 670 million dollars for loans to homeowners to repair the damages. It was during this time I met a number of talented tradespeople and together we repaired so much dry rot, mold, carpenter ants and more. I along with others repaired structural beams windows and door openings, sundecks, siding, soffit and much more we also began implementing the new guide lines set down in the B.C. building code.

Now with climate change our houses and structures are subjected to more wind driven rain then ever and a lot more heat and ultra violet rays from the sun as well, so abiding by the B.C. building code is crucial.
